Research interest
- My research interests
aims to contribute
to a better understanding of the essential bacterial division
mechanisms, knowledge that will be instrumental to identify new targets
to fight antimicrobials resistance. Through the combination of
biophysical techniques and functional reconstitution approaches, we
determine how intracellular factors as macromolecular crowding and
phase separation phenomena modulate the macromolecular interactions and
the reactivity of key elements for bacterial division and, hence, for
bacterial survival.
